I have to admit i am a little surprised to see the R rating for District 9. Does anybody think there is a chance they will appeal this rating or let it stick?

I say let it stick. We haven't seen a great R-Rated sci-fi feature in awhile. I'm hoping that District 9 will be a surprise hit – which means that, hopefully, we'll soon hear about the Halo film being moved into production.

That sounds like a pretty hard R. I think they were probably shooting for one.
