UPDATED: Latest MPAA Ratings: BULLETIN NO: 2067

Finally an official Terminator rating and now the Ultimate Watchmen

Here are the new MPAA ratings from BULLETIN NO: 2067.

Below you will see a rating for Ultimate Watchmen, which is a Warner Home Video release and my assumption is this is the home video version that will include both the Watchmen Director's Cut as well as the integrated Tales of the Black Freighter animated sequences. In last week's ratings update the Watchmen Director's Cut also received an R rating.

UPDATE: A second note is apparently in order since Some have asked about the Sucker Punch rating in this week's bulletin. No, this is not Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch it is a film for Grindstone Entertainment Group, but unfortunately I don't have any additional details.

Hmm, well, I think we were all expecting a PG-13 from Terminator by now.

Other point of interest… NC-17 for "The Night Buffalo." Haven't heard of the film until now, but it's always worth noting when a film earns the NC-17 rating.

Doesn't the director's cut include Tales of the Black Freighter? If yes then what will be added to Ultimate Watchmen, other than more useless special features?

Terminator is rated PG 13? I was somewhat interested but that killed it. It was just like seeing the fourth die hard and not hearing him say his trademark at least two times. Even a hard PG13 will be disappointing.

Ok people, you're missing the travesty of this MPAA update.

They're making another fucking "Bring it On" movie??!!! What the fuck? Seriously, they've remade the same fucking film 4 times already, and they're going to do it again?

I dont think the PG13 will hurt Terminator at all, even though its going against the franchise tradition. Dark Knight was PG13 and it kicked ass.

i think pg13 isn't as mild as it used to be… so i don't think we need to worry too much about it. in the end, it's what they do with it that will make the difference.

Yeah, in Wolverine there was some intense violence for PG-13. (Example; he decapitated Weapon XI and you saw it)

The Rolling Rating Assessments:

1) Goddamnit! Another Bring It On? The first one was funny. They should have stoppped there, not made twenty fucking sequels.
2) Humpday's rating description is a bit stronger than I expected. Probably more of the MPAA's known anti-gay bias. I expected an R, but the descriptors seem a little extreme.
3) What is The Night Buffalo? Whatever it is, I'm intrigued now. I can't find any info anywhere, but apparently it got an NC-17, which is always of note.
4) Set It Off: Director's Cut — randomness of the week. Don't care. Never saw it, and don't want to.
5) Why would you name a film Sucker Punch considering Zack Synder's new film? It's probably one of those damn no-budget Asylum shitfests created to confuse idiots at the rental store.
6) We already knew Terminator Salvation was PG-13. No surprise there.
7) How many different versions of Watchmen are there? And why do they all have the exact same descriptors?
8) Another Van Wilder? Why? The first one sucked ass, and I heard the sequel was even worse.
