‘Kingdom’ and ‘Ring 2′ Websites Go Live

Creepy and kingly sites take to the web.

Over the past couple of days DreamWorks and 20th Century Fox have been busy by giving on-liners increased looks at two of 2005s anticipated films, The Ring 2 and Kingdom of Heaven.

The Kingdom of Heaven website features a short Flash intro along with movie info and character info. The site is a simple teaser with a lot more to come, but nevertheless a good look at the Gladiator-esque movie. Click here or the pic above to check out the site.

Kingdom of Heaven stars Orlando Bloom in an epic adventure about a common man who finds himself thrust into a decades-long war. A stranger in a strange land, he serves a doomed king, falls in love with an exotic and forbidden queen, and rises to knighthood. Ultimately, he must protect the people of Jerusalem from overwhelming forces – while striving to keep a fragile peace.

The film is due in theaters May 6, 2005.

Next up is a completely active Ring 2 website featuring a new Flash introduction, downloads (wallpapers and AIM icons), a film gallery, movie info an interesting Flash animated “Water” section along with three more like it to come titled Symbols, Presence and Mother. The Ring 2 opens in theaters March 18, 2005 and picks up six months after the horrifying events that terrorized Rachel Keller and her son Aidan in Seattle. To escape her haunting memories, Rachel takes Aidan and moves to the small coastal community of Astoria, Oregon, to start fresh. However, Rachel’s resolve quickly turns to dread when evidence at a local crime scene-including an unmarked videotape-seems eerily familiar. Rachel realizes that the vengeful Samara is back and more determined than ever to continue her relentless cycle of terror and death.
