Kilmer and Fitty Pave the 'Streets of Blood'
This is a mess just waiting to be scattered
Talk about a collection of actors not many give two shits about anymore. Today we learn that Val Kilmer, 50 Cent, Sharon Stone, Dylan McDermott and Brian Presley are set to star in Streets of Blood for Irwin Winkler's son Charles.
The film is described as an action-drama and centers on the relationship between two police officers dealing with the lawlessness of New Orleans in the post-Katrina environment.
Nu Image/Millennium is packaging the project and the more I see that Millennium Films logo the more it makes me think of it as some half-assed trailer park company. It's a cheap looking logo, and outside of Rambo I think I can honestly say I have found little to no enjoyment in any of their films. The site of that big "M" prior to the start of the film spells doom for me. 88 Minutes was the latest example.
As for Streets of Blood, the eight week shoot will start next month from a screenplay penned by Eugene Hess.
