Keri Russell Tells Adam Sandler 'Bedtime Stories'
Why can't she be telling me these stories?
You have got to appreciate Keri Russell's return to fame. After starring in "Felicity" until 2002 she was gone from the scene until she went unnoticed in 2005's Upside of Anger, received a bit of notice for what seemed like rather favorable casting in Mission: Impossible III from "Felicity" creator J.J. Abrams, and then I think she shocked people with a very good performance in Waitress earlier this year.
Well, she has now landed herself a role opposite Adam Sandler in the Disney feature Bedtime Stories for director Adam Shankman. This puts her on a list of recent Sandler co-stars such as Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale and Drew Barrymore. Definitely a step up from being a forgotten television star.
In Bedtime Stories Sandler plays a harried real estate developer whose life is suddenly turned upside down when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew begin to come true. Russell will play a potential love interest for Sandler's character.
Production is set to bein in February, and will get a holiday 2008 release.
