This news has not been confirmed or announced by Warner Bros. officially and is, in my opinion, HUGE. Talk about getting asses into IMAX theaters. First off, if you were going to see I Am Legend anyway you may as well catch an IMAX screening for this footage alone, and if you weren't going to see it you now have 6 or 7 reasons to do so. I am interested to see I Am Legend anyway, even though it looks somewhat craptacular, but now I am just praying we get an IMAX screening here and the prequel footage will be featured.

Of course, there is always the possibility that this is all nonsense and not at all true, this is the Internet after all, a place where rumors and bullshit live and breathe. Hopefully we will get confirmation soon.

NOTE: My apologies for the use of the cliche Hollywood word "unprecedented", but I actually thought it fit.
