Either We Own the Night hurt Joaquin Phoenix's career big time or he is really fucking around big time with E! Online because in this red carpet interview he leads us to believe Two Lovers, directed by James Gray, will be his last film. When the E! interviewer begins to laugh at the idea, thinking Joaq is messing with him Phoenix gets upset and storms off.
Before storming off he says:
"Listen, I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor… I'm not doing films anymore."
When asked if he's serious he says, "Yeah, I'm just going to do music."
