Variety reports that Jane Fonda will be returning to the big screen after a 14 year hiatus and will star opposite J. Lo in New Line Cinema's comedy Monster-in-Law.

In the film Lopez will star as Charlie, a young woman who thinks she has found the perfect man, until she comes face-to-face with his ruthless mother. Fonda stars as the hellacious mother-in-law who believes that no woman — especially not Charlie — is good enough for her son.
