Jackson's Octopus Graces Con Cover

That headline could be perceived as very dirty

If you have seen anything from Frank Miller's upcoming film The Spirit based on Will Eisner's graphic novels you already realize it is shaping up to look exactly like Sin City, a film that fed off of visuals and cheeky dialogue. As much as I enjoyed Sin City the first time I saw it I have returned to it only when reviewing the DVDs and not at all since then.

So, when Comic Con Magazine published a cover featuring Sam Jackson as the film's villain The Octopus I apologize for not posting it immediately due to a general lack of interest in the film and the fact that it is basically nothing more than Sam Jackson in a furry coat with some eye makeup. On top of that we have all the crap around it as opposed to just giving us a look at Sam.

However, now that it was sent directly to me I was like what the hell? So here it is, give it a click for the hi-res version. Below the cover is the original teaser trailer and Lionsgate must feel there is something special about this film as it has been bumped from 2009 to Christmas 2008.
