It'll certainly make a good profit when all is said and done, but the movie is filling a niche that is (and has been) completely open since early summer (I guess you can count "My Best Friend's Girl", but I don't want to give Dane Cook any more credit than he deserves)- the date movie aimed at the younger generation. And since they are ones who spend money on movies the most, this could've opened bigger. Alas, it'll just be destined to be that one cult movie your indie rock douchebag girlfriend swears by.
