Brad, do you know if the alternate scenes and extended scenes are going to be cut into the movie, like an extended edition?

@Arjuna: Based on the press release, no, they won't be. Sorry.

Why don't movies release making of docs with DVD's anymore? The best special features are always the 60-90 minute extensive making-of documentaries, and it seems like they're very rare nowadays.

Oh well, round table discussion with Tarantino and Pitt should be great, if the Charlie Rose one is any indication.

it's too bad they won't be cut in the movie because two of the scenes if I am correct are why Landa didn't shoot Shoshana when she was running in the field and how Shoshana came into the posession of a theatre, which i think we're the only two glaring plot holes in this masterpiece

I see they're trying to get the DVD out in time for the Christmas holiday boom. Good choice.

"Inglorious Basterds" is so far my favorite film of the year. I have a feeling it will stay that way, but I won't say that definitely.

"I am correct are why Landa didn't shoot Shoshana when she was running in the field"

Well, look at Landa's character. He's a man who love the hunt. By letting her live mean he gets to hunt her later. I don't think his motivations need to be explained…

Dec. 15 can't get here sooner… but I kinda think releasing it on the same day as The Hangover ain't very wise. Dec. 22 would have been a smarter choice.
