I'm Going To Watch Ep 4.4 of 'Battlestar' at 9 AM Tomorrow…
How about you?
In only nine hours SciFi.com will debut the newest episode from season four of "Battlestar Galactica" online, 13 hours before it airs on television. Uh, pretty good deal if you ask me.
Here's the thing… Will this work and actually turn a profit? I am not sure. I know there are loyal fans of the show (I am becoming one), but will this help bring new folks to the program? I currently have an email out to SCI-FI to try and get an official number of how many people watched "He That Believeth In Me" (the season four premiere) online, but I do know the episode was the #1 cable program in primetime among SCI-FI's key adults 25-54 demo and #3 among adults 18 to 49 in over two years.
Results from tomorrow night's show will be interesting considering you can watch the show online far in advance.
If you haven't seen the premiere episode check it out here. You can also read my review of the episode here and get acquainted with the show here. Finally, you can watch the new episode at noon Eastern, 11 a.m. Central, 10 a.m. Mountain and 9 a.m. Pacific (that's me) right here.
