Um…"Ice Age" is performing like (or a little bit less than) "Night at the Museum 2" right? So is that the ceiling for them? Like $70 million or so in 5 days? Vince may have had a point but he needlessly attacked Transformers Defender when he could have just corrected him with facts. And GregM I do understand what you mean by your statement. But in order to do an honest comparison you have to look at the fact that Transformers destroyed on it's opening day, Ice age did not. Just looking at the fact of Wednesdays box office is not enough for resulting implications coming into the weekend. You have to look at how long the movie has been out as well. So of course Transformers was bound to dip below another movie on it's opening day. Anyway the only real point I want to get across is that Ice Age had a weak open and I don't think It's going to have the steam to topple Transformers this weekend, But I guess we will see in a few days.
