OMG!!! in twilight (The Film)Robbert Pattinson (Edward) is damn cute but he is amazingly gorgeous anyway!!!

Can You believe this he (Robbert Pattinson) is 22 years old and i am 20 years old we could get married!!!!(i was born on the 5th of august 1988)
can you imagine MRS C PATTINSON it all fits together help me become MRS C PATTINSON in any way you canbecause he is so gorgeous and i deserve him and want him so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so bad

I am going to see this here in Portsmouth (England) in a couple of hours, I'm looking forward to it. I've not read the books, and I think I'll leave them until after at least the second film. I have read some similar stuff I liked. Pattinson is cute :)

I've read all 4 books (my daughter got me into it) and enjoyed the first and last. I thought I'd share this gem with y'all: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17884149 . I'm getting it as a present for my 12 yr. old since I cannot afford the official Twilight bracelet (at $99). There are many of these bracelets being sold on Ebay, but I thought this had *unique* charms and was reasonably priced.

I AM a Twilight Mom and I look forward to your updates and perspective. I read them to my husband and though he enjoyed the books, he had a lot of trouble with seeing everything from a 17 year old GIRL'S POV. He much preferred the first chapter from Edward's POV in Midnight Sun. But there have been quite a few male Twilight converts. All of us at TMs are eager to hear your experience as a guy reading Twilight!

I am actually quite anxious to read them now. One fan sent me this link to a Time Magazine article on Stephenie Meyer compared to J.K. Rowling and it really does get you excited to read the books.

The book series is absolutely phenomenal.
I truthfully like the series better than the Harry Potter series.
This series, as fantastical as vampires and all that are, is very very realistic.
To me, it was one of the few novels I have ever read that was driven wholy by amazing and believable characters.
Male or female, you can identify with AT LEAST one character in the series.
Although most of the people I know identify with many.

Whether the movie matches up to how truly phenomenal the series is…I can't say.
Unfortunately we must wait for December to find out.
But I must say…I think you people are VASTLY underrating this movie and the series.

i don't think the movie will suck like eragon did. in an interview kristen stewart said something like, "i'm not going to say the movie's better than the book because the book was great too." they've got great actors and a different story line a little different from the books but there's no way they can mess it up. although at first i was a little disheartened by catherine hardwicke as the director.

Yeah, it sort of has the Eragon feel to me. The folks that loved Eragon were very much into the movie and then it hit and dropped like a turd. At least Twilight goes in a different direction than fantasy, and I did vampires so we'll see. It sort of sounds like a 90210 meets Anne Rice story to me.

I think all the "worship" is because there's news about it like every single day.
I haven't read the book either, started to, got a little bored then dropped it, but I think I'll read it before the movie comes out.
You're right, this books and movies will never compare to Harry Potter, not only because the only thing they have in common is Robert Pattison, but also because the books are not nearly as known around the world as Harry Potter, at least not now…
