‘I Am Legend’ Alternate Ending Shows Up Online

No need to wait for the DVD, here it is

/Film brings to our attention the fact that the alternate ending that was shot, prompting several reshoots for I Am Legend and will be available on the March 18th special edition DVD and Blu-ray is now online.

I will say one thing, if you have not seen the film and don’t want to be spoiled don’t watch this clip, because the overall result is pretty much the same.

As for comments on the alternate ending… I think both endings are awful and this one is definitely worse. Sorry, a coincidental zombie love story does not intrigue me, and as Peter at /Film points out, “[weren't] all the bridges destroyed?”

The reviewers who keep leaking this stuff are going to screw the rest of us over.

The added scenes in the rest of the film does add some weight to the ending. You can’t just judge the ending… even though I think they both endings are equivalent in their crudiness.
