I like the mockumentary idea. Lot's of rappers try to be actors and usually fail. Is he flipping it on them to try and prove a point? Joaquin's rapping = DMX's acting.

His life, let him do what he wants.

Honestly, I think Joaquin looks like he's in a constant state of being drunk and high, which probably ties this whole rap thing to some doped-up flight of fancy. It's too bad. Joaquin was a good actor, just like his brother River. Let's hope that this isn't some final giant crazy flameout before he od's or something.

River Phoenix acted pretty strange his last few years alive. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to Joaquin…

He should have got an Oscar for Gladiator, that was a serious oversight. He was great in Signs too, apart from the the odd "water" thing, brilliant movie.

I watched these videos yesterday on youtube, and all I could think about was how this had to be some sort of elaborate mocumentary. If they pulled off the mocumentary, I'm sure it would be funny to a degree. If it isn't a mocumentary, it will certainly be just as funny. I feel bad for joaquin because he has had such a successful career as an actor, I can't understand why he would scrap a career that made nothing but sense for one as a rapper. P Diddy is a shitty producer too, this can't be going anywhere good if he's being serious.

I really hope you are right, Brad. Joaquin is making a fool of himself. At least in these videos, he is. I also think that people shouldn't compare him to his brother. If people are going to judge this guy, it should be done on his own terms, at least.
