Production Weekly is reporting that Anthony Hopkins will be reuniting with director James Ivory in The City Of Your Final Destination. The pic is based on the novel by Peter Cameron and stars Omar Metwally as an Iranian-born graduate student at the University Of Kansas who travels to Argentina to seek permission from the family of a deceased Latin American author to write his authorized biography. Hopkins plays the author's brother, Laura Linney his widow, Charlotte Gainsbourg his mistress and Hiro Sanada the lover of Hopkins' character.

Ruth Prawer Jhabvala penned the screenplay and filming is set to get underway in the US and Argentina later this month.
