Here's the 'Toy Story 3' Tiny Teaser Trailer

Don't expect much, but nostalgia may kick in

I am surprised to see all the fuss over this teaser trailer for Toy Story 3 considering it doesn't exactly reveal anything. We all knew it was coming out, but I guess the nostalgia factor has kicked in with a lot of folks.

Nevertheless, whether you are seeing Up this weekend and will ultimately see the following teaser trailer in theaters, or are avoiding the crowds and waiting until next weekend, you can check out the Toy Story 3 teaser below.

Toy Story 3 hits theaters on June 18, 2010.

Watch it in Quicktime HD: 480p | 720p | 1080p

That's cute, Pixar has an interesting way of making teasers.

It put a smile on my face, sure. It was good to see those characters again, but ultimately it wasn't a world-changing trailer or anything.

Yeah…. I feel happy and a little nostalgic too… but definitively I will see this movie with a lot of love. I remember that I saw the first one when I was 7 years old…. Now I´m 17. Time passes really quickly.

Hmmm, with Ratatouille and Wall-E being robbed of Best Picture nominations in the eyes of many (mine included), If Toy Story 3 is in the vicinity of Pixar's more recent films and even surpasses it, I'm calling this right now, Toy Story 3 will earn a Best Picture nomination in 2011. It will probably be also The Academy's way of finally rewarding Pixar and I'm not just talking about that animated oscar. They finally crossed out Kate Winslet on their I.O.U list and Pixar as much as any should be high on that list. That would be fitting if Toy Story-which ushered in the era of CG animation-would be the one to break the ceiling that was reforged after Beauty and the Beast's 1991 nomination nearly 2 decades ago, and earn a spot at the Best Picture table.
