Hayden is a ‘Beast’

I don't see the appeal of this guy...

Hayden Christensen

Did you watch the trailer for Awake? Pretty interesting idea right? However, if you are like me, you already think Jessica Alba is a terrible actress and is only there for her looks, but what about Hayden Christensen? Any thoughts on this guy? I actually didn’t think he was that bad in Shattered Glass, but that was only because he was playing a whiny little bitch of a character, something he seems fit for. However, we know that whiny bitch role got old quick in the Star Wars prequels, and even though I didn’t mind Factory Girl, Christensen seemed a little out of place in that one.

However, despite me feelings, Hayden will be seen in not only Awake, but also the new Doug Liman feature Jumper and he has just lined up duties to star in Beast of Bataan along side Koji Yakusho, Willem Dafoe and William Hurt for director Fred Schepisi.

The film is baed on the Lawrence Taylor book, “A Trial of Generals,” telling the true story of the trial of Masaharu Homma, the Japanese general who was implicated in the Bataan Death March. The story follows the aftermath of the 1942 Bataan Death March, in which 10,000 American and Filipino POWs died on a forced march to captivity. Christensen is playing Homma’s young lawyer, trying his first case and fighting against the death penalty for his client, who is being tried for war crimes by U.S. Gen. Douglas MacArthur. Chris Carlson and Mark Jean wrote the screenplay.

The film is eyeing a February start date in Australia.

Check Hayden out in "Life As A House." I don’t think he’s a bad actor at all.
