UPDATE: ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ Teaser Trailer is Here

HD trailer and four new pics...

UPDATED: You can watch it in QuickTime HD right here or in a better Flash version just below. I have also added four new stills from the film right here.

I am not even going to waste any time since I cannot believe Warner Bros. decided to debut this trailer in shitty MSN Flash quality. Click here or on the pic above to give it a watch.

I will update this as soon as a better version is available.

After a first look it is definitely atmospheric and definitely much darker than the previous installments. Based on the trailer we could go all Star Wars on it and call it Rise of Lord Voldemort. Perhaps now will be the time that parents get mad at the filmmakers just in time for them to water down Deathly Hallows for a younger audience. Nahhhh.

Wow. I must say I’m absolutely blown away by the trailer.I love how the films get darker just as the books as the series go on. I firmly believe that if it wasn’t for the restrictions and all that crap, the final two films would be rated R. It looks like this one could push the border as well.

Needless to say, I’m freaking excited for this.

Can’t wait for HBP! My kids and I always go to the midnight showings…we dress up and everything. We always have a blast!

Hey…did you all know that they are splitting HP and the DH into two parts that will be released 6 months apart?!?! Not that I mind a longer movie…I think they ALL should have been longer in order to include vital information that was left out, but it sure would be nice to have the two parts relased a little closer together :-(

I was a bit worried when they got David Yates, an unknown to take over Harry Potter. And while Order of the Phoenix was a good film (it is the weakest book in the series) I was wondering how his take would be on the last, now, three films. It looks like Yates has nailed it and after The Dark Knight this film was on top of my must see films of 2008 and I am looking even more forward for this.
