Guy Ritchie is 'The Gamekeeper'

Two movies in such a short time span

Following Swept Away we really haven't heard anything out of director Guy Ritchie since Revolver was not well received at the film festivals and then never released. However, it seems like we will be getting a double dose of the helmer in the coming years as he has RocknRolla getting reading to roll and now a film version of the Virgin Comics series The Gamekeeper set up at Warner Bros.

The project revolves around the reclusive caretaker of a Scottish estate with infinite knowledge of the behaviors of all animal species. When the alleged killer of his son surfaces, the caretaker finds that Europe's urban jungle is not so unlike that of the natural landscape to which he's accustomed.

Andy Diggle is penning the script and Joel Siler will produce. "Gamekeeper" marks the first original Virgin Comics property to move into development as a feature.
