Gruesome ‘Bangkok Dangerous’ Clip Washes Up

Cage may have found a film I can tolerate

Nicolas Cage stars in the Pang brothers’ new film Bangkok Dangerous and whereas this clip starts off feeling like something we have seen before it ends with a little kick ass stylized bit of cinema that shows us what the Pangs can offer.

Sure, Cage looks like a douche in the cowboy hat and aviator glasses (is that an amber tint I see), but you can’t deny the fun in watching an arm get chopped off and bullets then whizzing through the water below.

Bangkok Dangerous is set for release on September 5, 2008 from Lionsgate.

Other than the typical action movie exploding dirtbike, I liked the clip a lot. Ive always hated the fact that every vehicle explodes on impact in movies.

Haven’t you noticed that most vehicles explode just before impact or when they go over the edge of the cliff. I never knew hitting air could be so dangerous /:).

But the trailer does give a good action flick vibe.
It’s based on a Hong Kong action film and they usually have a great over-the-top-action entertainment factor.
