Grandma Gets Bloody in New Clip from 'Legion'

Get a load of those choppers.

Sony Pictures just unveiled a new restricted clip from their upcoming supernatural religious thriller Legion starring Paul Bettany as the Archangel Michael who sets out to help a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner after God loses faith in mankind and sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse.

The clip featuring the ravenous grandma named Gladys can be viewed directly below. Legion hits theaters on January 22, 2010, for more information and a look at three new images click here.

This trailer came out in August, the week of District 9. I do think it could potentially be awesome.

Hahah I love it. I'm keen as all hell to see this movie, always love these types of stories. I also want to check out Gabriel starring Andy Whitfield (the guy in Spartacus: Blood and Sand). Just have to find time to hire it.

"I said your fuckin babies gonna burn!!" best line of 2010 (so far).

I gotta admit, after seeing the first trailer for this film, I was completely unimpressed. However, upon seeing this trailer today, I'm not sure what it was but it made me smile and actually start to look forward to yet another take on the apocalypse.

Still, how ten people + 1 supernatural angel (or so it seems from the trailer) are expected to take on a legion of heaven's finest. Oh well, I'm not exactly expecting smarts from this film. It looks like a bloody good time.
