Brad Renfro who played Mark Sway in The Client and also appeared in the movie Apt Pupil was found dead at the age of 25 this past Tuesday. The actor died of unknown causes but it is believed to be related to his ongoing battle with drugs. Renfro died in his Los Angeles home and was found by his girlfriend. [FOX]

For undisclosed reasons actress Gwyneth Paltrow spent one night in New York's Mount Sinai Hospital. Brought in by her husband from Coldplay, Chris Martin, the actress left a short time later. [REUTERS]

New details have been released in the Britney Spears saga that could support the idea that the singer is in fact mentally ill and not using drugs after all. Although I think she suffers from both a suicide letter is said to have been found in her bathroom by Sam Lufti another enabler in her life. The letter was a mix of sorrow and a desire to rest in peace. The letter was found before her nervous breakdown in early January. Skipping another court hearing this past Monday it looks like Spears still cannot see her two sons for now. The "Toxic" singer was too busy out having lunch and going to church. [ABC]

I try to keep my Britney posts to a minimum because let's face it I could go on and on! This one was funny. Britney decides to go shopping without any clothes on! She did arrive dressed but then proceeded to look for dresses in the Betsey Johnson store. The rest is what happened through the eyes of a store employee when Britney came prancing out of the dressing room nude! "I grabbed a dress to cover her and she screamed, 'Get away from me! Don't you f—— come near me!' says the employee. "Then she disappeared in the dressing room with Adnan for 45 minutes. They were making weird noises. It was disgusting." When Britney and Adnan stumbled out, Britney mumbled something unintelligible. "I couldn't understand a word she was saying. She was slurring and spitting, and talking with a British accent," says the employee. "Her face was covered with cold sores and acne, and her scalp was patchy. I wanted to help her, but she was so mean that I left her alone. "Then she muttered, 'F— you!' and left the store.
