Get Up Close with 'Eragon'

Banner ads in hi-res.

Okay you Eragon fans, I hope you like what I have done for you, and at the same time I apologize for the delay.

You see, since I live in Seattle I get my Variety news online and it takes a few days for the actual print version to arrive. So, that is the reason it has taken me a few days to get up the fold-out ads that appeared in the October 18th edition, but I have gone through and scanned these babies to perfection and at the same time I did my best to clean up any imperfections.

What we have are three banners put together as they appeared in the trade, and all you have to do is click here or on Eragon's eyes above to check them out.

Enjoy!

Eragon is a 20th Century Fox release and is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 15, 2006.

The movie is based on the Christopher Paolini-penned bestselling fantasy novel about a youth whose discovery of a dragon egg leads him to become a knight and battle an evil king. The medieval-set tale revolves around a farm boy who learns he is the last of a breed of benevolent Dragon Riders, whose magical powers derived from their bond with the beasts.

I can't understand why you made arya blonde in the movie Eragon!! She is supposed to have long black hair!! Why could you do that to a huge fan of the books!!! and I expect the movie to be as long as possible…because your cutting scenes from the book and also adding scenes that aren't even in the first book!! And Saphira better look good and better be sassy!!

It is key in order to connect with your readers, which will be the majority if not totality of your viewers. By contradicting long-imagined descriptions of characters, despite what may be seen as a minor trait, only creates more critism, and probally frustration in your viewer's minds. I am dissapointed in the lack of proper representation, and it does piss me off, however I am really looking forward to this movie. I hope that it will live up to the book, because the writing was great. And if someone wants to make a movie based on a book, they should make proper provisions, basically; don't bother making a movie, unless your going to take the effort to get it down to every aspect. Not that I'm complaining b/c I am looking forward to the movie, though obviosly i amcomplaining . . . who is reading this anyway.

Another thing: In the book, Arya has pointy ears. . . ummm. . . NO POINTY EARS! I don't get it. Also, another thing that's been bothering me, I haven't heard any of Sapheria talking in the trailers. And when I looked in IMBD for the person who is doing her voice, they didn't list one. I'm really nerveous that they cut all of that out. I don't know how they could, or why they would have the nerve to, but all the same, I'm a little scared. Am I such a big geek? And Christopher needs to come out with the third book, PRONTO! It's killing me not to be able to read it!

Sorry, I made a typo in the last one, and it's killing me to see it there. I spelled Saphira like Sapheria. Sorry. I didn't mean it. Typo.
