Ricky Gervais = Hilarious. Greg Kinnear = Not so much the hilarious. However, Gervais may be able to pass on a bit of the funny as the two are set to star in the romantic-comedy Ghost Town for DreamWorks Pictures.

How it is a romance is beyond me as the story centers on a dentist who dies briefly during routine dental surgery and gains the ability to see dead people who ask him for help in contacting the living.

The pic will be directed by David Koepp who also penned the script along with John Kamps. Koepp's recent scripts include War of the Worlds and the upcoming Fourth Indiana Jones Film.

Word is production will get underway in October.
