George Clooney Starring in Reitman's 'Air'
This certainly means Reitman will continue to try new things
The simple fact that George Clooney will star in Jason Reitman's next film, Up In the Air, an adaptation he penned based on Walter Kirn's novel shows he will continue to go in different directions. This is not to say Up In the Air won't be another witty flick such as Reitman's Thank You for Smoking and Juno, it's to say Clooney wouldn't exactly fit in either of those films and leads me to believe this new film will have a completely different tone.
In the flick Clooney will play an unapologetic corporate downsizer whose untethered life is consumed by collecting air miles. Reitman is set to begin production for DreamWorks and aims to make it his next film.
Clooney will next be seen in the Coen brothers flick Burn After Reading and Reitman is currently producing the comedic-horror Jennifer's Body starring Megan Fox and penned by Diablo Cody.
