UPDATE: Gary Oldman Not Joining Garry Shandling in 'Iron Man 2'
Two Gary's, one just has an extra 'r'

UPDATE: Gary Oldman is NOT in Iron Man 2. Apologies for jumping the gun on this rumor.
IESB.net is reporting Gary Oldman has joined the cast of Iron Man 2 and the site is speculating he may be playing Howard Stark, father to Tony, previously rumored to be played by Tim Robbins. They do, however, also point out that role has been rumored to be filled by "Mad Men" actor John Slattery.
Iron Man 2 only started production two days ago and pictures and chatter have been rampant online as just yesterday news of Garry Shandling's involvement hit the Internet as he, like Oldman, was seen on set. Now, today, we have a picture of Shandling on set courtesy of Pacific Coast News (via SlashFilm), which you can see to the right and probably already figured out it isn't Gary Oldman.
Shandling was confirmed by IESB to be playing Senator Stern in a continuation of the final scene from the first film.
Iron Man 2 is set for a May 7, 2010 release.
