Garner Sees McConaughey's 'Ghosts'
Ah Jen, why another rom-com?

Why does Jennifer Garner seem to gravitate toward all these romantic comedies? I will admit I didn't mind 13 Going on 30, but that didn't make it good, and Catch and Release was practically unwatchable. She scores big in the fantastic upcoming release The Kingdom, but has now set her sights on another rom-com as she joins Matthew McConaughey in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past for New Line Cinema.
The pic is being helmed by Mean Girls helmer Mark Waters from a screenplay by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The story centers on a charming womanizer who is visited by the apparitions of girlfriends past, present and future while attending the wedding of his younger brother. He eventually realizes that he is in love with his childhood sweetheart.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in January.
