Four New Posters from ‘Punisher: War Zone’

Dark, moody and damn cool

I have just added four extremely cool new posters for the upcoming Punisher: War Zone. I thought the first trailer didn’t look all that bad, but I remain skeptical of this film, but a lot of that has to do with the relatively unknown folks behind the film, but maybe that is exactly what this franchise needs considering it has failed at almost every turn.

Below are the four new posters and below that are thumbnails to browse all five posters from War Zone in higher quality.

These posters are so freaking awesome. Captures the dark essence for Marvel’s most deadliest vigilante.

Too bad the trailer makes the film look like complete shite. Otherwise, if these posters were the only released material for marketing, I’d be sold.

The trailer wasnt THAT bad…it did, however, look to me like a comic book, I really like the style of it, from what Ive seen so far. Im a fan of Lexi Alexanders other film, Green Street Hooligans, so Im optimistic.

I agree, I didn’t think the trailer was all that bad either considering the character is basically a guy that goes around killing people. The problem with these films is that the story becomes an afterthought. If Lexi can find a way to keep the story the #1 aspect of the film it stands a chance, but I have a feeling if this one bombs they can never return to this character. Three times a failure means it is time to hang it up.

I actually liked the Thomas Jane movie. It wasn’t great, but I enjoyed it. I think he did a good job playing The Punisher. This one doesn’t look bad either, but I probably wont see in theaters.

"This. Is. Just. The. Beginning." Seriously, Ray Stevenson’s fiber-rich dialogue readings from the trailer doesn’t make you wish for the thespian skills of Dolph Lungdren? Not to mention it seems the film’s cinematographer is utilizing all of the neon lights leftover from Batman and Robin.

I guess if there are no fire hydrant hijinks this film could be better than the previous turd. Although, from the trailer it looks like a large portion of the running time is dedicated to Frank Castle doing his best impersonation of a dradle.
