Four Clips from the Bret Easton Ellis Adaptation 'The Informers'

Any chance the early buzz was wrong on this one?

Gregor Jordan's adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's The Informers got savaged at Sundance as the four reviews I quoted couldn't find anything good to say about the film, but that isn't stopping Senator Entertainment from moving forward with the film as it currently stands to be released on April 24 in New York.

Senator is also ramping up the online promotions as I have just added four new clips and the official trailer from the film featuring the likes of Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, Amber Heard and the late Brad Renfro. I have included the Rourke and Renfro clip below and you can click here to tour the other three as well as the red band trailer.

Just know, I have labeled the clip below "Clip #2" so when you watch the rest just know you have already watched "Clip #2".

Was it just me or is the green screen in Clip 4 looking kinda cheap….or is that the way they wanted it.

Mickey Rourke looks pretty good in this. Hope is career does reboot.

Just release it on video already. I don't think anyone is going to make a night out going to see this!

It's pretty disappointing that they're making this book into a movie before Glamorama or Lunar Park. I just don't think this book was very good…like Less Than Zero without his soul behind it. I can understand ot filming Glamorama, as it would be tough to capture the right mood, and even then, it would go over horribly with a lot of people. But Lunar Park has to be the easiest book to translate to a great film that BEE has written.

This will hopefully be a great film. I actually love the redband trailer.

It's worth mentioning that I am a huge Bret Easton Ellis fan.
