Five Originals Ready to Pay RENT?
Diggs, Martin, Pascal, Rapp and Menzel all wanted to reprise their roles...
Revolution Studios is looking at original cast members for their upcoming feature film adaptation of the Tony-winning play Rent.
The names on the list were Taye Diggs, Jesse Martin, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp and Idina Menzel to reprise their roles — and apparently the studio is set to film around the actor's schedules, which shows just how serious the studio is about the picture, but may also mean they will be behind schedule and won't be able to hit a holiday 2005 release date.
Potter 1 and 2 director, Chris Columbus, is on hand to helm the film and will share script writing duties with Stephen Chbosky.
