hmm, it actually looks good. I'm beginning to gain confidence that Disney's in-house animation is getting back on the right track. I thought Bolt was solid, and both Princess and the Frog and Rapunzel looks good so far imho. Disney needs their in-house animation branch to rise again and thus create a formidable 1-2 punch with Pixar.

I don't believe Disney has announced the voice talent for this film yet. Also, Nathan Greno was the head of story on Bolt, not in the animation department. The concept art looks greats though.

I'm so glad that Disney (with the help of Pixar chief John Lasseter & CEO of Apple Steve Jobs) have decided to put faith back into the kind of feature films that gained them international fame and recognition for the past 70 years. I think that by focusing on stories that have been handed down for generations and provide opportunities for epic filmmaking (albeit of the kid-friendly variety).

In Five years, Disney Animation produced some of the highest grossing films of all time and even managed to garner a Best Picture nomination for Beasty & the Beast. Hopefully, Rapunzel & The Princess and the Frog will live up to the long and storied history of classic animated films in Disney's Archives. Since 2001's Lilo & Stitch, I've yet to see a Disney Animated film (non-3D that is) that was worth anything.

Suffice it to say, it's been a rough 8 years for me, being a fan of Disney's brand of 2D animation and all.

I LOVE the concept images for every film that has come out recently including Bolt and films that will come out soon, Princess and the Frog. I get chills from looking at these images for Rapunzel. Absolutely STUNNING! So colourful and painterly. I love the image of the boat and the background! Can Rapunzel be the new Beauty and the Beast?! I have faith in Byron Howard. BRING IT DISNEY!
