So Warner Bros. has continually told me I can't give my opinion on the film even though everyone and their mother seems to be giving their first, second and third impressions. Well, I will obey as my opinion appears to be more important that I ever would have imagined, but I will go as far as to say that without the racing in Speed Racer this movie would be a big, dull dud. The story is messy and half the time you are like, "Huh?" I have grown tired of the "It's for kids" argument, because even a good kid's film should be enjoyable for adults."
