First Looks at De Niro and Pacino in 'Righteous Kill'

Looking a little old there fellas...

The picture above is really what I want to see when it comes to Pacino and De Niro working together again. A couple of screen legends battling wits over a cup of joe. However, I am getting the feeling by a few of these new pics unveiled by Empire that they may be hitting the streets and getting a little dirty as the online magazine has four looks at Righteous Kill.

The site asks, "How about a look at them in action to stoke your fire?" Meh, well… "in action" is not really what I want to see considering both of them look old as hell in all of the images, but if that is what it takes to get them together again then so be it.

To check out the images click here or on the teaser above.

Righteous Kill is directed by Jon Avnet and is expected to hit theaters next year, but it doesn't have a major distributor, just Overture Films, which is not a good sign considering the talent involved.

To be honest Brad, the film is about two aging police detectives.

No, I get that, but it just limits my excitement in seeing these two together again.

Isn't 88 Minutes, the last movie Pacino made with Avnet, going straight to DVD? If nothing else, Righteous Kill has a very stupid title.

Yeah, 88 Minutes disappeared and I haven't even heard of a DVD date for it. I think it was filmed way back in 2005 or something like that too. Also, when a major studio isn't on board to distribute a movie with these two guys that just doesn't bode well.

The script wasn't that good, either, but script to film can change a lot.
