First Image from Disney/Pixar’s ‘Up’

Oh boy... de plane, de plane!

Pixar Planet/Upcoming Pixar has found online the first image from the Disney/Pixar collaboration Up, which is due in theaters June 12, 2009 from directors Peter Docter and Bob Peterson.

The film is Pixar’s tenth animated film and has been described as a coming-of-old-age story about a seventy-something guy who lives in a house that looks like your grandparents’ house smelled. He befriends a clueless young Wilderness Ranger and gets into lots of altercations as he travels the globe, fights beasts and villains and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon.

The pic above has been stretched and altered from the original image which you can see here in a larger format.

FYI: You’ll actually find that it was Upcoming Pixar that posted about this, however Upcoming Pixar and Pixar planet have merged and UP is now a subsidiary, you might say, of Pixar Planet. Other than that, this is pretty damn cool and I can’t wait for the teaser with WALL•E.
