Worked on this film in Malta and have to say that the experience was amazing. Amenobar is a down to earth genius with an amazingly human touch. Looking forward to seeing the film and to working with this great director again.

I WAS AN EXTRA IN THIS FILM, THE SET WAS FANTASTIC,ALL EXTRAS HAD TO WEAR A VERY HEAVY CUSTUME IN THE JULY SUN, THEY ALL DID THEIR BEST IN THE SHOOTING, BUT SORRY TO SAY THEY WERE ALL TREATED VERY BADLY BY THE ORGANISERS.NEXT TIME THIS GREAT DIRECTOR WILL SHOOT AGAIN IN MALTA, HE EITHER HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER LOCAL EXTRA ORGANISOR OR HE PERSONALLY HAVE TO SEE TO THEIR NEEDS
.FROM HERE I WANT TO CONGRATULATE THIS DIRECTOR, AND HOPE THAT THIS FILM WILL BE A SUCCESS

Another film from Alejandro Amenabar! "The Others" was brilliant and creepy. "Tesis" was truly, truly scary. And I still have "Mar Adentro" and "Abre Los Ojos" lined up to watch. This film--"Agora"--has been on my movie list for the past five or six months now, even though it's been completely under everyone's radar. In that respect it's similar to Malick's "The Tree of Life," which has also passed through filming and into post-production without a hiccup or news coverage, but which I've also been waiting for avidly and not-too-patiently.
