I'm sure Rogen and Goldberg ran down the list of "usual suspect" directors. When I first heard the news that Stephen Chow was starring and directing I felt there couldn't have been a better choice considering Chow's battled tested track record with his previous two outings. But when Chow fell out of the project on all levels, my next best guess would have been David Gordon Green seeing how he played the balancing act with Pineapple Express. Seeing Gondry at the helm worries me personally, having worked for Gondry in the past he changes his shots ON THE GO which is extremely not well suited for a action based film.
