Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone have unveiled new footage for a pair of their upcoming features. The first being a featurette from the robotic cloning feature Surrogates starring Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell from director Jonathan Mostow.
Surrogates features Willis and Mitchell as a pair of FBI agents investigating the mysterious murder of a college student linked to the man who helped create a high-tech surrogate phenomenon that allows people to purchase unflawed robotic versions of themselves — fit, good looking remotely controlled machines that ultimately assume their life roles — enabling people to experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
The film hits theaters on September 25 and also has a viral website associated with the feature. Check out the featurette directly below.
Next comes the footage you probably clicked on the headline for. Our first look at Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which doesn't hit theaters until May 28, 2010 but is sure to keep people interested until next summer.
The sword and sandal feature is based on the video game set in medieval Persia, Earth's mightiest and most mysterious kingdom, where a king and his son defeat the powerful Maharajah and kidnap his daughter, looting his palace of priceless treasure, including an extravagant hourglass, and a mysterious dagger.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars in the lead role with supporting roles from Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire director Mike Newell at the helm.
Below is the first look footage, which includes a lot of interview footage with producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Voice your thoughts on the footage in the comments below.
