Anna Faris, a Seattle native and better known as the Scary Movie scream queen has joined New Line Cinema's Just Friends, teaming her with Ryan Reynolds, star of MGM's upocoming Amityville Horror remake and New Line's Blade: Trinity, and Amy Smart.

The romantic comedy centers on a musci executive (Reynolds) who became a womanizer because his high school crush told him she wanted to be "just friends." Years later he unexpectedly finds himself reconnecting with the woman, and this time he's determined to win her heart. Faris will be plyaing a pop star who is after Reynolds.
