Everyone is Now Cast in 'Star Trek'
Finally an 11-year-old works his way in...

Coming Soon is reporting that 11-year-old Jimmy Bennett has been cast in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek as a young James Kirk. Many of you have seen Bennett in other features already including Hostage, The Amityville Horror, Firewall, Poseidon and Evan Almighty.
Chris Pine plays Kirk as well in the film, also in his younger, pre-Shatner years.
Not enough details have been revealed about the story to wager a guess on how exactly the youngest model of Kirk will be utilized.
Star Trek hits theaters on Christmas Day 2008.
