Entertainment Tonight's 'Halloween 2' Sneak Peek

So you are telling me he kills people?

There's a balancing act I find in running a movie website in which I primarily focus on what interests me and content I can bring at least some sort of commentary on. However, when it comes to Rob Zombie's sequel Halloween 2 there isn't a whole lot more to be said other than what I have said in the past.

Even though Zombie is quoted saying he wouldn't want to make a sequel to the remake he said he would never make Halloween 2 is on its way to theaters this August 28 and will pick up right as the first remake ended, following the aftermath of Michael Myers' murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

Original cast members return such as Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane and Malcolm McDowell along with an appearance from Lois Lane/Margot Kidder.

The first photo of Myers was debuted online recently, but apparently that is just one of the looks of Michael in this film as several others have been featured around the web including one with him sans mask.

Honestly, are we still harping on the fact that he said he wouldn't do a sequel? Everyone who's following this film already knows, so there's really no point in bringing it up again and again. He said what he said, he changed his mind, he addressed it himself. This so-called "commentary" you're offering is tiresome. If you don't give a sh*t, then don't cover the movie.

@Uh…: Are we still harping on it? No. Am I? Yes. If you don't like the coverage then why are you here?

@Brad Brevet: Just because I disagree with the content of some of your coverage, or find it tired, or whatever, and question it, I shouldn't be here at all? Jesus…

@Uh…: My point was that you are merely attacking when all I am doing is trying to fill some space, and I wouldn't say "everyone" already knows. On top of that, I even admit in the post there isn't more to add than what I have already said. Certainly question it, always question it, but you were questioning me, not the commentary, which is where my original comment came from. That's all.

Meh. Although I don't like Zombie as a director, and don't like his reimagining of the series, it's quite hard not to get excited for the return of who I'd call the greatest horror character ever created. Also, on a cheap budget and making roughly 90 million worldwide, it would've been very tough for Zombie to stand by his sequel statement…studio pressure can be quite heavy.

Dont get me wrong I like Rob Zombie and the movies he directs. The first Halloween wasn't very good because he basically just copied the original halloween. making the second one will just ruin the masterpiece done by John Carpenter.
