You may have read on some websites that Aaron Eckhart really had nothing to say about The Dark Knight during the recent junket for No Reservations. Why these sites decided to post headlines saying that there was nothing to say is beyond me, but the battle to "out scoop" seems to be the driving source online these days as opposed to actual legitimate news.
However, some Eckhart/Dark Knight news has surfaced online as MTV comes up with the news. While the actor may remain mum for most Eckhart confirms that Harvey Dent will show his ugly side as Two-Face in The Dark Knight, a question many fanboys had been asking.
"I play Harvet Dent. Harvey Two-Face. They are both in the movie," Eckhart told the site. "There are a few scenes I am dying to do. We've done a few…but the scene that I really want to do is in October." Of course, he was mum on what the scene was, which I am quite happy about. Stop spoiling movies people!
As for what was said at the No Reservations junket, it wasn't a lot.
When asked about how he was going to approach the character he said, "I feel that you don’t want to completely separate one from the other, but I don’t feel I have to do completely what Tommy Lee Jones did and I don’t even consider that. It’s not something that bothers me." Other than that journalists that tried to get anymore news were met with a, "We're not here to talk about Batman, There's a whole year to do that."
The Dark Knight hits theaters on July 18, 2008, while you can catch Eckhart in No Reservations on July 27, 2007.
