DreamWorks’ ‘Monsters vs. Aliens’ Has a Proper Trailer

Not really all that impressed...

On March 27 Dreamworks will release Monsters vs. Aliens, a film based on the horror comicbook “Rex Havoc,” about a monster hunter called upon to battle aliens who disrupt cable TV service. The first official trailer has just made its way online and it doesn’t really look all that great outside of the blobby guy voiced by Seth Rogen, who also did a good bit of voicework in Kung Fu Panda. The rest of the cast is made up of Reese Witherspoon, Rainn Wilson, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett and Kiefer Sutherland and is directed by Conrad Vernon and Rob Letterman.

This is going to be DreamWorks’ first big step into 3-D animated releases and Jeffrey Katzenberg better hope the gimmick puts asses in the seats because I am not sure this trailer will.
