Variety has published an article detailing the upcoming slate for Dreamworks Animation through 2012 and it includes the following features:

How to Train Your Dragon: Written and directed by Chris Sanders and Den DeBlois and produced by Bonnie Arnold. It stars Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, America Ferrera and Johan Hill. Set in the world of Vikings and dragons, it centers on an awkward teen who befriends an injured dragon. Film is set for a March 26, 2010 release.

Shrek Forever After: Directed by Mike Mitchell, produced by Teresa Cheng and Gina Shay and exec produced by Aron Warner and Andrew Adamson. Set for a May 21, 2010 release.

Oobermind: Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey star in this one in which Downey will voice a supervillain who finds life a little dull after vanquishing good-guy rival Metro Man in the superhero-themed pic, based on a spec script (previously called "Master Mind") from Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films. Pic will open Nov. 5, 2010.

Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom: Sequel to the 2008 hit with Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman returning to the voice cast. Film is due to hit theaters on June 3, 2011.

The Guardians: Turning to a not-yet-published book series from kidlit-to-toon titan William Joyce, whose work has previously inspired Disney’s "Meet the Robinsons" and "Rolie Polie Olie." The Guardians unites characters every child knows — Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Jack Frost and the Sandman — to defend the world from a Bogeyman-like villain. Film is due on November 4, 2011.

Puss in Boots: Puss in Boots imagines events before the popular character's appearance in Shrek 2, while introducing all-new characters. Antonio Banderas returns, and Salma Hayek will lend her voice to love interest Kitty. Shrek the Third helmer Chris Miller is onboard to direct, with the film slated for March 30, 2012.

Madagascar 3: In May 2012 helmer Eric Darnell offers up a third installment in the zoo-break series, which would relocate the critters from Africa to Europe via a traveling circus.

The Croods: A caveman comedy from directors Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicco, was once intended to be an Aardman collaboration. One of a couple of films vying for a November 12, 2012 release date

Truckers: Derived from Terry Pratchett’s "The Bromeliad Trilogy," with Simon Beaufoy adapting a story of miniature creatures stuck living in a department store. Also eying November 12, 2012.

Super Secret Ghost Project: Asks what ghosts think about humans. The third film looking at Nov. 12.

Of course, all films will be produced in 3-D.

the sequels and spin-off are just to make money and will likely disappoint like shrek 3.
Some of the others seem quite interesting tho.
Especially the Terry Pratchett one, a briliant and very funny writer. The adaptation to screen could alway be bad but i'll gladly give it a chance.

I don't know, the premise of Madagascar 3 looks pretty interesting. But yeah, otherwise all of the other sequels and spinoffs look stupid.

Yeah Madagascar is the only one that sounds worth making.

Best sounding movie: "Oobermind."
Best title: "Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom." Come on. Admit it, guys. It's a pretty brilliant title.

Certainly not seeing "The Croods." De Micco participated in the godawful crapfest "Space Chimps." Nuh uh.

Everything else sounds perfectly fine to me, though.

How to Train Your Dragon: Could be decent, could be awful. Right now it just looks boring.

Shrek Forever After (worst title ever): Couldn't care less. First was great, second was very good, third was crap.

Oobermind: This one actually looks good.

KFP: The Kaboom of Doom: Liked the first, will be sure to check this out.

Mad 3: Very interesting plot, but I am disappointed by this series.

Not a terrible lineup (you can see some originality in there), but I'm expecting half good/passable and half pop culture-referencing shit. That's what Dreamworks is like for me.
