Downey Jr. in ‘Sherlock’, Kingsley in ‘Persia’ and Gallons of Posters

'Hobbit' talk, 'Hulk' smash review and so much more...

(clockwise from top left) Ben Kingsley in Prince of Persia, Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Holmes, Max Payne poster, Che poster, TDTESS poster, Hulk, Frost/Nixon poster, Bedtime Stories poster

POSTERS!!!! A new German poster for The Day the Earth Stood Still is online. As well as one and two new posters for Che, a French one for Max Payne, an international one for Frost/Nixon and finally another for The Hurt Locker. Did I forget the one for Bedtime Stories? Ooops!

The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw wrote a review of The Incredible Hulk in what I will call “Hulk Speak”. Not bad…

SET PICS!!!! Defamer has a pic of Ben Kingsley on the set of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time while Just Jared has our first look at Robert Downey Jr. in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes.

Guillermo del Toro talked to MTV about how The Hobbit would be split into two films and told them, “The reality is that we stopped talking the first movie and second movie, and we just started taking about the movie - the two episodes, or two parts, as if they were a single piece of narrative.

Speaking of MTV, they also have a new Twilight banner.

Did you see Stephen Spielberg and George Lucas rape Indiana Jones on “South Park”? No, well now you can.

Speaking of Indy, Nikki Finke is spreading rumors that “Paramount confirmed to [her] this week that an Indiana Jones 5 is a very, very real possibility and Lucas has already begun development on it.”

Finally, when asked about the “Saturday Night Live” skit in which Andy Samberg portrays Mark Wahlberg as talking to animals Wahlberg told MTV, “Uh, I didn’t think it was as funny as I’d hoped.” Perhaps he was lying about seeing it, because this shit is HILARIOUS:

I have to disagree with you and agree with Wahlberg: it’s not that funny. Samberg’s impersonation is perfect, but why is he talking to animals? They could have put any SNL performer doing a really good impersonation on any celeb in the same sketch. Talking to animals really isn’t funny (just ask Rex Harrison). Unless there’s something I missed. Did Wahlberg do a remake of Dr Doolittle when I wasn’t looking?

I think the point of talking to animals is no matter who Wahlberg is talking to/acting with he is going to talk the same way and end the conversation by saying, "Say hi to your mother."
