‘Domino’ Pic Inspiration Found Dead

Domino Harvey dies at 35.

New Line Cinema’s Domino feature just received a bit of early promotion via the tragic death of its muse as Domino Harvey, the subject of the film, was found dead at the age of 35 in the bathtub of her West Hollywood home on Monday.

Keira Knightley will be playing the role of the late model-turned bounty hunter who had been arrested last month in connection with a drug-trafficking sting in Mississippi.

Harvey had been working closely with the filmmakers to use some of her music in the feature as producer Samuel Hadida said, “We were enormously saddened to hear of Domino’s untimely passing. She and I had been conferring about her music to be used in the film only weeks ago. I know I speak for all of us on the movie’s cast and crew when I say how much we enjoyed her presence on set when she visited. And although our film is not intended as a biographical piece, hers was the dynamic personality and indomitable spirit that spawned an exciting adventure, not just on screen, but in real life.”

Adding to the sorrow for the young lady’s passing director Tony Scott added, “Domino never failed to surprise or inspire me over the last 12 years. She was a free spirit like no other I have ever known.”

The cause of death is not yet certain, but rumors are flying around that it was due to a drug overdose, which is simply speculation based on the charges Harvey was up for. Friends of Harvey proclaim the incident is the result of an untimely heart attack.

Harvey was the daughter of the late English actor Laurence Harvey who starred in such features as The Manchurian Candidate and The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm and the feature film version will center around Harvey’s life and ultimate rejection of her privileged Beverly Hills life to become a bounty hunter.

The film is set to hit theaters on August 19th.
