Dominic West is Punisher 2’s Jigsaw
The villain is now known...
Many will remember Dominic West from this year’s release 300, you remember, “This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this. I am not your King.” Yeah, that guy. Well, it looks like director Lexi Alexander has cast him as her villain in Punisher 2: War Zone.
West is in negotiations to play the Punisher’s archenemy known as Jigsaw, a mob assassin whose face was torn to shreds and stitched back together like a jigsaw puzzle. Along with that bit of casting we also learn Wayne Knight (best known as Newman from “Seinfeld”) is in negotiations to play Microchip, the Punisher’s armorer and confident — the man who supplies him with his stockpile of weapons and one of the few people who knows the Punisher’s true identity.
These two will join already cast Ray Stevenson who will play the title character also known as Frank Castle, Dash Mihok, Colin Salmon and Doug Hutchinson.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in October in Montreal.
