DiCaprio Starring in Atari Creator Biopic

We will learn about the making of PONG!

Leonardo DiCaprio

The story of Atari creator Nolan Bushnell must be rather intriguing as Variety says several folks have tried to nail down rights to the story as Leonardo DiCaprio and his production house Appian Way have been the lucky ones to secure it.

DiCaprio is attached to star in the feature as Bushnell, who, along with Ted Dabney, founded Atari Inc. in 1972 and were instrumental in bringing arcade games, home vidgame consoles and home computers to the masses. Among the company’s contributions was PONG and the Atari 2600.

The screenplay was penned by Brian Hecker and Craig Sherman. A director is not currently attached.
