‘Darkness’ Comes to Dimension

Yet another comic book adaptation gets the green light.

Variety is reporting that Dimension Films has set up a deal with Platinum Studios to develop The Darkness, a comic book adaptation that revolves around a 21-year-old former assassin who inherits a family secret, an unholy power known as “the darkness,” which changes his life, for the big screen.

The main character of the comic, Jacke Extacado, has shown his face in other superhero storylines such as “The Hulk” and is scheduled to pop-up in upcoming issues of “Superman” and “Batman.”
